Unveiling of NYGC 100th Anniversary Plaque

The North York Garden Club will mark its 100th anniversary with the unveiling of a commemorative plaque on June 22 at 12:30 p.m. 

The celebration will begin at Mel Lastman Square, where Councillor Lily Cheng will offer remarks and attendees will have an opportunity to view the plaque and participate in photos.

The event will continue at the North York Central Library, where guests can learn more about the Club’s history and view its archives, housed on the library’s fifth floor.

The North York Garden Club continues to thrive, recently welcoming its 120th member. Community members are invited to attend and celebrate this important milestone.
