The City of Toronto is inviting fans to show their team spirit as the Blue Jays take on the postseason! Join fellow Torontonians tonight, Wednesday, October 8, at 7:08 PM, for a free outdoor viewing party at Mel Lastman Square to cheer on the Jays in the American League Division Series (ALDS).
Bring your Blue Jays gear, family, friends, and playoff energy for a night of community celebration and big-screen baseball. The event is free and open to everyone, offering a lively, family-friendly atmosphere right in the heart of North York.
A special thank you to Mayor Olivia Chow for supporting these events and helping Toronto rally together behind its team. “Toronto is a baseball city, and when it’s the postseason, we want everyone to experience the excitement together. These viewing parties are our way of turning every corner of the city into one big cheering section. Let’s make some noise for the Jays!” – Mayor Olivia Chow
Make tonight a true Toronto moment. Gather your crew, wear your blue, and cheer loud for the Jays at Mel Lastman Square!
And while you’re in the area, don’t forget to check out the great local restaurants nearby to grab a bite before or after the game for an even more memorable experience.
