Threads of Time: Youth Design Challenge was an inspiring collaboration between Art Starts and Gibson House Museum that brought together eight talented youth to style, design, and create garments, culminating in a professional photoshoot. The challenge invited them to explore both history and contemporary fashion by creating two distinct looks: one inspired by Gibson House and the other reflecting modern trends.

Under the mentorship of interdisciplinary textile artist Camila Salcedo and photographer Pam Lau, visual storytelling illustrates the connection and contrast between two eras, reflecting the youth’s imaginative input and unique perspective on fashion and history.
