The newly renovated Another Land Coffee is a warm, welcoming café owned by the lovely couple, Hong and Jackie. Despite having kids of their own, this café feels like another cherished member of their family – one they’ve nurtured and grown with love. The menu is packed with delicious drinks and treats like freshly baked scones, making it the perfect spot to relax. This cozy space is a true community hub, where familiar faces gather and friends take a breather. Kray Cafe

On my recent visit to Kray Cafe, I was greeted with warm hospitality and various unique Korean treats I might not have tried otherwise. Tucked upstairs (so it’s easy to miss if you’re not looking!), this spacious café is flooded with natural light from its large windows, creating a peaceful retreat from the bustling Yonge Street. I sampled their delicious Bungeoppang, a fish-shaped pastry filled with flavours like red bean, pumpkin, and Nutella, adding a fun twist to a traditional treat. Along with a rich cup of hot chocolate, they even offered me a nostalgic dalgona, a honeycomb-like candy like in the show Squid Game!

Space Coffee

Also tucked away on the second floor, Space Coffee is a fairly new cafe with a distinct purple brick exterior. It’s a perfect stop on your way to work – grab an Americano, latte, Spanish latte, or any of their other caffeinated options, along with freshly baked treats like croissants, egg tarts, and more. For tea lovers, they also serve matcha and hojicha lattes, with milk alternatives available for all drinks. Luna Bakery

This moody and elegant cafe, Luna Cafe, is sure to impress. Specializing in traditional Korean treats, they use seasonal ingredients to create beautifully crafted rice cakes, rice doughnuts, bingsoo – Korean shaved ice, and distinctive drinks like black sesame lattes and tangerine black tea. The cafe offers inviting event spaces as well, with room for 20 guests upstairs and a back patio that can accommodate 30 during warmer months.
